THIRD PARTICIPATION IN INTERPACK
The city of Düsseldorf, Germany, hosts Interpack every three years, one of the most important European fairs in the packaging sector. The event brings together machinery, raw materials and inputs manufacturers. This year, the fair will bring together 2,700 exhibitors from 60 countries, distributed in 19 halls.
The Export Plastic Program, along with 15 associated companies, will take part for the third consecutive time at the fair, to be held between 12 and 18 May. For some companies, such as Mazda, Topack, Clever Pack and Cromex, the presence at Interpack 2011 will be special, as it will be their first participation.
Cromex, manufacturer of colour masterbatches and additives for plastics, will also attend for the first time. The company highlighted the importance of Interpack as an opportunity to prospect customers and promote the brand, as the company operates in Europe through local distributors. "The Export Plastic Program enables us to participate in events we could attend without this partnership," said Margaret Barbosa, company executive. Cromex is the only company in South America with permission to market masterbatches for Braskem's green polyethylene. It will also highlight the potential and differential of the product during the fair.
