IMPROVEMENT PROGRAMS
• Lean Manufacturing - is a generic process management philosophy derived from the Toyota Production System (TPS). It is renowned for its focus on reduction of the ‘seven wastes’ in order to improve overall customer value.
• 5S Program – Based on the application of 5 Senses: Seiri (Sense of Sorting); Seiton (Sense of Organization); Seiso (Sense of Cleanliness); Seiketsu (Sense of Health and Hygiene); Shitsuke (Sense of Self-Discipline) is a methodology guided towards the implementation and evaluation of the workplace organization, cleanliness and conditions. It bears great importance upon internal processes, seeking an agreeable physical environment for the carrying out of operations in all company facilities.
• Six Sigma - Cromex adopted the 6 Sigma strategy of all processes in the company for over four years and each of our employees undergoes an in-depth training program to participate in the ongoing improvement of the companies internal processes.
• TPM - is a proactive approach that essentially aims to prevent any kind of slack before occurrence. Its motto is "zero error, zero work-related accident, and zero loss." TPM has five goals:
1. Maximize equipment effectiveness.
2. Develop a system of productive maintenance for the life of the equipment,
3. Involve all departments that plan, design, use, or maintain equipment in implementing TPM.
