The new product line NIR-PR is a solution for the black packages recycling challenges due to the presence of carbon black particles that absorb part of the UV and IR lights, blocking the Near-Infrared reading existent in automatic separator machines, therefore blocking the identification of the polymer for recycling.

It is a carbon black free product line that provides a 100% solution by detecting the resin type which is used in the package manufacturing.

It can be used in PP, PE, PS and PET resins, providing to the packaging manufacturer the possibility of exploring the benefits that the black color offers to the package design.
